Adara's Dollies

Last Halloween I attended a lovely doll meet with my local people and we had an all around great time with snacks, karaoke, and lots of BJDs! Enjoy the pictures!

This was the first major photo shoot of Rania since her new dye-job, and she also got to see and snuggle with Hands, Rosslyn's doll.

I found these awful Christmas sweaters at my local Target and they magically fit my MSDs! So, they now have ugly Christmas sweaters, BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!! And Briar wanted to wear her candy cane evening dress, Rosslyn had made Cherry a Frozen-inspired dress, and Rosslyn's Pip and Stella opted to hang out.

So Briar was deserving of some proper attention and wanted to show off her new wig. It was previewed in the Portland shots and she is eager to show off her new photos! She is so beautiful in these shots. Rosslyn took all of these pictures. She reminds me of the old fashioned stars of the silver screen: Elizabeth Taylor and Marilyn Monroe... Might have to use more vintage styles on Briar from now on. Catching the last rays of sunset there.

Here is my lovely new doll after getting her the way I wanted her. "Why, Adara, she is not nearly as pale as she was in the box opening photos! What happened??" I'd always envisioned Rania as Indian, possibly Hindu (working on her background). A pale, white skinned doll would not do. I asked Rosslyn for help, as I simply knew the Souldoll Soulkid Amy doll had the right face for what I wanted, if someone could just help me get the rest of the way. Rosslyn obliged. We both sanded the doll down and prepared her for the dyeing process. Rosslyn took the opportunity to sand the nose down into a more aquiline shape for Rania's ethnicity. Then, she trial-and-error-ed her way through the dyeing process to get the right color (this really did take an awful long time, but the results are worth it).
