Adara's Dollies

I developed a pattern for this MSD-size doll dress a bit ago, but I needed the yarn I'd originally used for another project, so I set to knitting a new dress for Lan to keep. I really love how fitted it is and how it hugs her curves. The pattern has the cables both front and back. I think I will be offering this pattern for sale in some fashion in the future.

I got some new clothes for Lan! I love her new sweater and silver pants.

Lan came out for perhaps the first time proper to the Sego Lily Gardens meet up.

In our last post, I mentioned Rosslyn modifying Lan's bust. Now you get to see her in action! She's using a ceramic knife and water to cut and smooth the resin (sanding happened right after), but this puts resin dust in the air, so she doesn't feel comfortable without the face mask for protection. One bust mod, body blushing, and faceup later! I already had a dress designed and knitted for her, and a couple wigs, so impromptu fashion show! I also switched eyes between the last photo and the one above. Rania now has the smaller irises and Lan has the bigger ones. The eye shape is just too large for the Liddell to wear the small irises. This wig is as long as the dress, but I think she'll wear wigs with bangs the most, as they are more flattering. She seems to think this wig is more punk rock. And she is liking the punk rock, oh yes. Better pictures hopefully forthcoming, but I've been delayed by Rania's further mods

For my graduation, my husband and I agreed I could order a doll I've wanted for years to celebrate! So please welcome my newest addition, Lan! She's a Souldoll Soulkid Liddell in NS with the newline body. This happened a few weeks ago, so she's already gotten a faceup and some mods to be seen in a later post. So that morning, I was awoken by my husband, who had been about to go to work when the doorbell rang. He brought me the box straight away, so I took a picture on the bed. I then moved to my craft room with it and so began the opening! Certificate of authenticity! I ordered these eyes as well. The silly, fluffy blond wig it came with. And now she is free of the bubblewrap mummy. She's quite a bit taller than I expected. She came with blue eyes. She does pose nicely already, though, but the chest is shaped... badly. Rosslyn has already modified her.
