New Doll--Warning, Doll Nudity

My lovely husband bought me a doll I've wanted for years for my birthday. But, the person they ordered it from (he and my best friend were in on it) accepted payment, then went radio silent for several weeks, and then claimed a truck ran over the box and destroyed the doll (how??). Yes, the money was refunded. Still, frustrating. By then, I was in on the purchase and we discovered another sculpt I wanted was about to be discontinued and on a final sale. So, we bought the Souldoll Soulkid Amy. After many months of waiting, she has arrived!

Enjoy the following box opening.

Certificate of authenticity! And a couple scratchers for their tenth anniversary sales.

Oh, it's a dolly!

Freebies and doll supplies.

Mummy wrap stage.

And here she is!

The freebies turn out to be a cotton candy pink wig and two sets of eyes.

So here she is dressed and in her new wig. There will be more shots later as she is completed. She needs dyeing to her actual skin tone (which isn't offered by Souldoll) and then a faceup.

Kitty Blushing!

After the kitty's box opening, I left her in Rosslyn's hands to body blush. The next day, I began to receive photos texted to me. Isn't she adorable?! And then the eyes were added. I think Rosslyn took these pictures just to torment me. The kitty is being held by a Minifee, to give an idea of scale. I picked up the kitty the very next day and she's been frolicking on my shelves ever since!

The Cloaks Are Finished!

The cloaks I mentioned in the previous post are completely finished and posted on the DoA forums. I loved the pics taken. They make me wish I had a Fairyland Littlefee at home to wear them. So cute! Here are Rosslyn's dolls Stella and Scythe modeling the various cloaks: Overall, I'm very pleased with how they came out! If you would like to purchase one, go here . Progress on the Modifications

I do not have pictures at this time, but that will hopefully change soon. Khorae's modifications are mostly complete now and her posing ability is amazing, especially compared to what it once was. She can sit up straight without any support--and did so for two days straight! She can even cross her legs and hold that pose as well. Her new sleeping head has had the lips parted further for a more natural sleeping look, and the eyes have been closed with epoxy sculpt. The nose has also been filed down to match her awake head, and the ears pierced. I'll go into more detail when I do finally have photos. Unfortunately, though, she's still blank, so hopefully we can get her blushed and faceupped soon, before the autumn weather changes to something too damp to work with.
