Lan's Mods

In our last post, I mentioned Rosslyn modifying Lan's bust. Now you get to see her in action!

She's using a ceramic knife and water to cut and smooth the resin (sanding happened right after), but this puts resin dust in the air, so she doesn't feel comfortable without the face mask for protection.

One bust mod, body blushing, and faceup later!

I already had a dress designed and knitted for her, and a couple wigs, so impromptu fashion show! I also switched eyes between the last photo and the one above. Rania now has the smaller irises and Lan has the bigger ones. The eye shape is just too large for the Liddell to wear the small irises.

This wig is as long as the dress, but I think she'll wear wigs with bangs the most, as they are more flattering.

She seems to think this wig is more punk rock.

And she is liking the punk rock, oh yes. Better pictures hopefully forthcoming, but I've been delayed by Rania's further mods and darker dye job. That's right, Rania has changed.

Kitty Blushing!

After the kitty's box opening, I left her in Rosslyn's hands to body blush. The next day, I began to receive photos texted to me. Isn't she adorable?! And then the eyes were added. I think Rosslyn took these pictures just to torment me. The kitty is being held by a Minifee, to give an idea of scale. I picked up the kitty the very next day and she's been frolicking on my shelves ever since!

The Cloaks Are Finished!

The cloaks I mentioned in the previous post are completely finished and posted on the DoA forums. I loved the pics taken. They make me wish I had a Fairyland Littlefee at home to wear them. So cute! Here are Rosslyn's dolls Stella and Scythe modeling the various cloaks: Overall, I'm very pleased with how they came out! If you would like to purchase one, go here . Progress on the Modifications

I do not have pictures at this time, but that will hopefully change soon. Khorae's modifications are mostly complete now and her posing ability is amazing, especially compared to what it once was. She can sit up straight without any support--and did so for two days straight! She can even cross her legs and hold that pose as well. Her new sleeping head has had the lips parted further for a more natural sleeping look, and the eyes have been closed with epoxy sculpt. The nose has also been filed down to match her awake head, and the ears pierced. I'll go into more detail when I do finally have photos. Unfortunately, though, she's still blank, so hopefully we can get her blushed and faceupped soon, before the autumn weather changes to something too damp to work with.
