Khorae Evolution Pt. 2

Continuing in my quest to post Khorae as she evolved, these pictures are after I touched up her face and made her a peplos dress in the Greek style. I still have it, too. ^_^ I remember being inordinately proud that I had made it with my own hands and it was even hemmed. That fabric was a ridiculous pain to work with. Here is an early photoshoot between Khorae and Donovan, Rosslyn's Iplehouse EID Akando I had featured a couple posts back in his tattooed glory.

"Khorae!"
"Wah!"
"There y' are! I been lookin' everywhere fer you!"
"Wh--How did you find me?! Go away! I'm still mad at you!"

"I'll no be goin' anywhe--don' run!!"

*Scramblefall* "Ouch!"
"Khorae!"

"Are y' hurt? It's fair dangerous out here!"
"Fine, fine, let me go!"

"Ahh....noo."
"Unhand me, you cretin!"
"I'm no' a cretin; I'm yer husband and we can settle this like a married couple should, 'stead o' runnin' off in huffs."
"What're y--!"

!!!!!

*melt*

"There...that wasna so bad, aye?"

"Now, y' ready to come back home wit' me?"

*SMACK!*

"You can't just kiss me and make me not angry with you anymore."
"So yer gonna be like tha', aye?"

"Home we go!"
"Hey! You put me down! This is not dignified!"

And they always make up in the end.

Progress on the Modifications

I do not have pictures at this time, but that will hopefully change soon. Khorae's modifications are mostly complete now and her posing ability is amazing, especially compared to what it once was. She can sit up straight without any support--and did so for two days straight! She can even cross her legs and hold that pose as well. Her new sleeping head has had the lips parted further for a more natural sleeping look, and the eyes have been closed with epoxy sculpt. The nose has also been filed down to match her awake head, and the ears pierced. I'll go into more detail when I do finally have photos. Unfortunately, though, she's still blank, so hopefully we can get her blushed and faceupped soon, before the autumn weather changes to something too damp to work with.

Halloween Pictures!

Cherry, Lan, and Briar decided they wanted to join in on the Halloween fun, so enjoy their costumes and little sets! Cherry went very Disney with her Frozen-inspired dress and a tiny pumpkin from our garden. Lan is a little witch and every witch needs a familiar. Briar wanted to enjoy some sumptuous Middle Eastern furniture and costume!

Knit MSD Dress

I developed a pattern for this MSD-size doll dress a bit ago, but I needed the yarn I'd originally used for another project, so I set to knitting a new dress for Lan to keep. I really love how fitted it is and how it hugs her curves. The pattern has the cables both front and back. I think I will be offering this pattern for sale in some fashion in the future.
