Rania's New Mods

As time went on, I decided Rania was too pale and almost too purple (she was an almost pale lavendar brown color in some lights), so I asked Rosslyn for the pretty-please-help-me. We redyed her at my home, where I helped clean her, sand her, and helped Rosslyn during the dyeing process. I was so nervous, even moreso than the first time. You can see here the old color beside the new. She spent a few days drying out, getting put back together, and then having her blushing and faceup redone. But now... Now she's perfect. She looks so much closer to what I wanted and how I saw her in my head! I also got her a new wig, since the long, straight hair was just right for her background.

Kitty Blushing!

After the kitty's box opening, I left her in Rosslyn's hands to body blush. The next day, I began to receive photos texted to me. Isn't she adorable?! And then the eyes were added. I think Rosslyn took these pictures just to torment me. The kitty is being held by a Minifee, to give an idea of scale. I picked up the kitty the very next day and she's been frolicking on my shelves ever since!

Lan's Mods

In our last post, I mentioned Rosslyn modifying Lan's bust. Now you get to see her in action! She's using a ceramic knife and water to cut and smooth the resin (sanding happened right after), but this puts resin dust in the air, so she doesn't feel comfortable without the face mask for protection. One bust mod, body blushing, and faceup later! I already had a dress designed and knitted for her, and a couple wigs, so impromptu fashion show! I also switched eyes between the last photo and the one above. Rania now has the smaller irises and Lan has the bigger ones. The eye shape is just too large for the Liddell to wear the small irises. This wig is as long as the dress, but I think she'll wear wigs with bangs the most, as they are more flattering. She seems to think this wig is more punk rock. And she is liking the punk rock, oh yes. Better pictures hopefully forthcoming, but I've been delayed by Rania's further mods ...

Meet Rania

Here is my lovely new doll after getting her the way I wanted her. "Why, Adara, she is not nearly as pale as she was in the box opening photos! What happened??" I'd always envisioned Rania as Indian, possibly Hindu (working on her background). A pale, white skinned doll would not do. I asked Rosslyn for help, as I simply knew the Souldoll Soulkid Amy doll had the right face for what I wanted, if someone could just help me get the rest of the way. Rosslyn obliged. We both sanded the doll down and prepared her for the dyeing process. Rosslyn took the opportunity to sand the nose down into a more aquiline shape for Rania's ethnicity. Then, she trial-and-error-ed her way through the dyeing process to get the right color (this really did take an awful long time, but the results are worth it). Finally, Rosslyn was triumphant and Rania looked almost herself. The next two days, Rosslyn worked hard to give Rania her faceup and body blushing. She i...

Rosslyn wanted me to post these for her. They are of her Iplehouse EID Akando, Donovan. He needed some shots of his tattoos and body hair and blushing...and my camera was handy. So here he is, looking very sexy! Enjoy!
