Briar's Outing with Pip

Rosslyn and I decided to go visiting a few stores and for this trip, we took the pukipukis with us. OUr first stop was Toys 'R Us! Briar liked the rabbit hutch and wanted to take home some bunnies. I reminded her she already has five pets at home. This particular dollhouse was fascinating to Pip with it's odd spiraling open door and music (yes, it played music), while Briar wanted to scare the princess. And we hit the Barbie section! Pip and Briar found no shortage of dolls their size and tried to join them. It didn't quite work with the "I Love Lucy" dolls... But they more than rocked it with "Charlie's Angels". I think this was my favorite pic from the whole trip. From Toys 'R Us we went to World Market and enjoyed the imported and antiques. I'm still not really sure what it is that Pip is hiding in. Popping out of lanterns. Ph the jokes about the toilet candy...Briar thinks they stink. LLAMA!! Llama llama...

Medieval Gown

Proof! This is the medieval period gown I made for Khorae. It's made with dark green linen and looks very nice on her. I had taken more photos of it, but they turned out fuzzy or repetitive, so I axed them. Face shot, because I felt like it. :D Annnd here is the whole dress! I used period rectangular construction and made some adjustments to fit on a non-squishy body. Rosslyn made the belt. And now for some fun! We dragged Donovan out for some photos. Now that Rosslyn and I no longer share a living space, the husband and wife pair don't see each other very often. Here you go! This last one is my favorite. They look so very content to me.

Spirits of the Earth Doll Meet

I decided to post some pics from way back in October. Khorae is my only doll present at this meet, but the costumes were lovely and very intricate. There's a bit of a Halloween flare as well, given the time of year. I hope you enjoy! And here is Khorae in her water spirit outfit. I had finished it in the car on the way there in fact, even the making of the jewelry she's wearing. I was quite proud of myself, too. It also happens to be one of the most suggestive outfits I've ever made. Rosslyn's Kevya and Rowena. I don't remember all of the dolls so yeah, only Rosslyn's or mine will receive introductions in this post. There were perhaps 15-20 doll owners, with multiple dolls. And here we have Rosslyn's Siofra on the back of the Souldoll Chiron making him supremely uncomfortable. I thought it was funny enough to warrant several pictures. Rowena again. She deserves more attention than she gets. Her resin is very volatile, so she isn't photog...
