Spirits of the Earth Doll Meet

I decided to post some pics from way back in October. Khorae is my only doll present at this meet, but the costumes were lovely and very intricate. There's a bit of a Halloween flare as well, given the time of year. I hope you enjoy!

And here is Khorae in her water spirit outfit. I had finished it in the car on the way there in fact, even the making of the jewelry she's wearing. I was quite proud of myself, too. It also happens to be one of the most suggestive outfits I've ever made.

Rosslyn's Kevya and Rowena. I don't remember all of the dolls so yeah, only Rosslyn's or mine will receive introductions in this post. There were perhaps 15-20 doll owners, with multiple dolls.

And here we have Rosslyn's Siofra on the back of the Souldoll Chiron making him supremely uncomfortable. I thought it was funny enough to warrant several pictures.

Rowena again. She deserves more attention than she gets. Her resin is very volatile, so she isn't photographed much.

Rosslyn's Pukipuki Cupid with DaisyDayes' legs on, as a faun, obviously. He needed no costume for this meet.

And I of course sniped the dolly owners!

Yes there is a doll in there.

And Khorae again.

That's it from me for now. Peace out!

Progress on the Modifications

I do not have pictures at this time, but that will hopefully change soon. Khorae's modifications are mostly complete now and her posing ability is amazing, especially compared to what it once was. She can sit up straight without any support--and did so for two days straight! She can even cross her legs and hold that pose as well. Her new sleeping head has had the lips parted further for a more natural sleeping look, and the eyes have been closed with epoxy sculpt. The nose has also been filed down to match her awake head, and the ears pierced. I'll go into more detail when I do finally have photos. Unfortunately, though, she's still blank, so hopefully we can get her blushed and faceupped soon, before the autumn weather changes to something too damp to work with.

Halloween Pictures!

Cherry, Lan, and Briar decided they wanted to join in on the Halloween fun, so enjoy their costumes and little sets! Cherry went very Disney with her Frozen-inspired dress and a tiny pumpkin from our garden. Lan is a little witch and every witch needs a familiar. Briar wanted to enjoy some sumptuous Middle Eastern furniture and costume!

Knit MSD Dress

I developed a pattern for this MSD-size doll dress a bit ago, but I needed the yarn I'd originally used for another project, so I set to knitting a new dress for Lan to keep. I really love how fitted it is and how it hugs her curves. The pattern has the cables both front and back. I think I will be offering this pattern for sale in some fashion in the future.
